HSDM CORE LABORATORIES
The Research and Education Building opened in 2004 and brought the HSDM research community together under one roof. One of the goals for this state of the art research building is to help facilitate colaborations between the researchers. No walls between individual laboratories create an open environment where people from different labs can interact and share ideas. The core laboratories further this sharing concept by creating shared space with equiupment that can be used by the entire HSDM research community. This saves both money and space. A list of the core rooms are below:

5^th Floor Cores:
- Microscopy Room
- General Equipment Room
- Cell Culture Rooms
- Injection room

4^th Floor Cores:
- Computer rooms
- Histology Room
- General Equipment Room
- Cold Room
- Cell Culture Rooms
- Wash/Sterilization room

3^rd Floor Cores:
- Radioisotope Room
- General Equipment Room
- Dark Room
- Cell Culture Rooms
