 The Office of Research provides support for all research activities at Harvard School of Dental Medicine (HSDM). By leveraging its scientific strengths and focusing on the biology of bones, joints, mucosal membranes, and their diseases, as well as clinical and health policy research, HSDM has established a strategic direction for its research programs.
As the only School within Harvard University
with its own clinical facility, HSDM continues
to differentiate itself through a unique
emphasis on basic and clinical research
combined with exemplary patient care and
education. HSDM expects all faculty, staff
and students to maintain standards consistent
with the highest traditions of teaching,
patient care, and research in medicine.
