Anna T Jotkowitz, B.D.SC.

Born and educated in Melbourne, Australia, Dr Jotkowitz received her dental degree, with honors, and GP training from the University of Melbourne, Australia in 1995. Since that time she has been a member of the Dental Practice Board of Victoria. In 1996 Dr Jotkowitz took the Israeli board exams and relocated to Jerusalem, Israel. There she practiced in the public sector for a short while, before going on to become a senior partner in KJJ Dental Office & Associates. In 2000 she received a certificate in Advanced Restorative Dentistry from the Jerusalem Studies for Advanced Dental Studies. Dr Jotkowitz’s professional career has been centered around clinical dentistry and patient care. In 2006, she joined the Department of Restorative Dentistry at HSDM where she pursues a position focused on teaching, lecturing and instructing the pre-doctoral students. She is active in helping the students bridge the differences between the academic learning setting and the outside world of private practice. Dr Jotkowitz’s current practice is in the Harvard Faculty Group Practice where she practices comprehensive patient care, focusing on restorative and esthetic dentistry. She believes in putting patient factors first when considering the different treatment options.

Clinical / Academic / Research interests

Clinical interests - Dr Jotkowitz practices all aspects of general dentistry with a particular interest in esthetic dentistry, and treatment of the phobic patient. Research interests include modern evolving dental materials, improving the accuracy of diagnosis and minimally invasive dentistry.
