The HDAA is a dues-based association, which operates on an academic-year calendar. Subscription reminders are mailed twice a year (January and July). Your subscription underwrites the Harvard Dental Bulletin (three issues per year), provides resources for student and alumni award presentations (given at graduation and during reunion; see below), and aids in offsetting the costs associated with alumni events and activities. Subscription proceeds are also used to fund the seat held by the HDAA president on the Dean's Advisory Board. A subscription deepens your commitment to HSDM and to the Alumni Association but is not a prerequisite for participating in alumni programs or at events.
In addition to a subscription, many alumni choose to support HSDM with a yearly gift to the annual fund.
The HAA helps alumni connect with the University and with fellow graduates through a wealth of Harvard Club activities, continuing-education programs, online services, and alumni events around the world.
The online community for all Harvard University alumni can be found at Alumni.harvard.edu. After a simple online registration, alumni may:
HSDM alumni have access to the Harvard Alumni Association's Crimson Compass service, a network of Harvard graduates committed to helping one another explore professional interests and career alternatives. The Crimson Compass also offers alumni the unique opportunity to mentor and network with current students.
