# 100 Million Mouths Campaign

The 100 Million Mouths Campaign (100MMC) is on a mission to bridge gaps in oral health access by training 50 oral health education champions—one in every state—to integrate sustainable, equity-driven oral health curricula into health profession schools. These champions collaborate with medical, nursing, and residency programs to empower future primary care providers to improve the oral health of 100 million people over the next decade.

Launched in 2020 under the HRSA-funded Center for Integration of Primary Care and Oral Health, the 100 Million Mouths Campaign (100MMC) aims to train and support 50 oral health education champions, one in each state, over the next decade. These champions work with medical, osteopathic, physician assistant, nurse practitioner, and midwifery schools, as well as related residencies, to integrate sustainable oral health curricula focused on health equity. They collaborate with state dental directors, public health departments, and community-based dental professionals to advance this mission.

The [table below](#champions) outlines the Champions selected and trained across several states, representing diverse disciplines. By equipping faculty to continue these efforts, the campaign seeks to improve the oral health of at least 100 million people in the coming decade.

*Current funding for the 100MMC comes from the Delta Dental Community Care Foundation; Colgate-Palmolive Company; Arcora Foundation; Arkansas Children’s Foundation; Delta Dental of Arizona Foundation; Delta Dental Foundation of Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana; Delta Dental of Idaho; Delta Dental of Illinois Foundation; Delta Dental of Iowa Foundation; Delta Dental of Kentucky; Delta Dental South Dakota Foundation; Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey; and the Northeast Delta Dental Foundation.*
