## About this webinar

Rehabilitation of the atrophic posterior maxilla remains one of the most challenging aspects of implant dentistry. Contemporary surgical techniques now enable clinicians to treat these complex cases with greater predictability while minimizing patient morbidity.

In this evidence-based webinar, [Dr. Pierluigi Balice](/people/pierluigi-balice "Pierluigi Balice") will examine current approaches to managing posterior maxillary bone deficiency, helping clinicians select the most appropriate treatment strategy based on available bone volume, anatomy, and patient-specific considerations.

Participants will explore treatment planning, surgical decision-making, and complication management while comparing established and emerging techniques—including lateral window sinus augmentation, minimally invasive transcrestal approaches with osseodensification, and the use of short and pterygoid implants—to achieve predictable implant rehabilitation.
