Dr. Briana June Burris is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon. She completed a two-year fellowship in endoscopic maxillofacial surgery and minimally invasive temporomandibular joint (TMJ) surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) after her residency at Harbor-UCLA, a level 1 trauma center in Los Angeles, CA.

Dr. Burris accepted a full-time faculty position as an attending surgeon and associate program director at the Massachusetts General Hospital-Harvard OMFS residency training program. She is pursuing a career as an educator-clinician with research focused on diagnosing and managing immune-based synovial membrane diseases. She plans to collaborate closely with the medical device industry to develop more sensitive, minimally invasive diagnostic tools and improve the ergonomics of surgical instruments.
