Dr. Sang E. Park is the associate dean for Dental Education at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine (HSDM), overseeing predoctoral and advanced graduate programs—including admissions, student affairs, the registrar, financial aid, and academic advising. She led the transformation of HSDM’s clinical education into the Case Completion Curriculum (CCC), prioritizing patient-centered care and inspiring similar innovations worldwide.

As chair of the Curriculum Redesign Task Force and Curriculum Committee, she spearheaded a comprehensive overhaul of the predoctoral program—emphasizing the integration of oral health with primary care, early clinical exposure, flipped classrooms, and case-based collaborative learning. Park also established HSDM’s MMSc in Dental Education and the Scholars in Dental Education program to cultivate future academic leaders, exposing students to teaching, administrative and committee service, and leadership perspectives.

Her ongoing efforts focus on advancing dental education through innovative programs, enhanced access, and global connections, reinforcing HSDM’s leadership in shaping the next generation of dental professionals and integrating oral care into the broader healthcare landscape.
