Dr. John Chang is a part-time lecturer in the Department of Restorative Dentistry and Biomaterials Sciences at Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where he has taught in the Advanced Graduate Education Program in Prosthodontics since 2005. He received his DMD from the University of Pennsylvania and completed a certificate in prosthodontics and a Master of Medical Science from HSDM. Chang also served as a surgical fellow at the University of Geneva as an International Team for Implantology (ITI) Fellow.

His academic interests include implant dentistry and advanced prosthodontics. He has published in peer-reviewed dental journals and lectures nationally and internationally. He maintains a private practice in Cambridge, Massachusetts, with a focus on prosthodontics and implant dentistry. He is a member of the American College of Prosthodontists, the Academy of Osseointegration, and the Massachusetts Dental Society.
