Join us to explore how you, as a provider, can offer compassionate, patient-centered care that minimizes harm and prevents the unintentional reinforcement of negative patient experiences.

This session of the two-part series will feature practical applications of trauma-informed care in clinical scenarios. 

Sessions will cover topics including: 

  • The eight trauma-informed care (TIC) principles
  • The neurobiology of trauma to identify gaps that may increase trauma reactivity in patients who have experienced interpersonal violence
  • Ways to Implement TIC principles into your current patient care 
  • Hear from a panel of faculty and clinicians and how they incorporate trauma-informed care into their practice

HSDM designates this activity for 1 ADA CERP continuing education credit per session.
