About the speaker
Dr. Diane Bielenberg is an assistant professor in the Department of Surgery at Harvard Medical School and a principal investigator in the Vascular Biology Program at Boston Children’s Hospital. Her laboratory studies the role of neuropilin receptors in neovascularization, lymphatic drainage, smooth muscle tone, inflammation, and carcinogenesis. This translational research has implications for hypertension, lymphedema, smooth muscle motility disorders, obesity, cancer, and chronic inflammation.
