Orientation
DMD program
Introduction to the profession
DMD students attend a week-long course alongside their MD peers where they are introduced to a variety of broad themes that are integral to the professions of dentistry and medicine. The aim of this program is to initiate opportunities for growth and the setting of individuals goals within a shared class framework, culminating in the creation of a class oath that outlines students’ responsibilities and aspirations.
White Coat Ceremony
A time-honored tradition that symbolizes a rite of passage for students entering health-related professions, the DMD/MD combined White Coat Ceremony marks students’ initial first steps in their training.
AGE Program
Your journey begins at HSDM
Orientation for our Advanced Graduate Education (AGE) programs provides an opportunity for all incoming AGE students from across programs to meet and connect with one another as they are welcomed into the HSDM community. Students will hear from School leadership, faculty, and staff from various departments that will serve as essential resources for success during their time at the School.
Additional information will be shared with matriculating students later in the spring.
