Dr. Brooke Blicher
Dr. Brooke Blicher joined the faculty in the Department of Restorative Dentistry and Biomaterials Sciences in 2009. A proud HSDM alum, she works with both predoctoral students and postdoctoral endodontics residents in clinical and didactic settings. She has served as a clinical instructor and lecturer, with a focus on mentoring students in clinical practice, particularly in diagnosis, including resorption, fractures, and the management of traumatic dental injuries.
Blicher earned her undergraduate degree from Colgate University, her DMD from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, and a certificate in endodontics from Tufts University. She has remained active in research and writing and is coauthor of the widely used textbooks Endodontics Review and Clinical Endodontics.
She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics and a Fellow of both the American College of Dentists and the International College of Dentists. She maintains a full-time private practice limited to endodontics at Upper Valley Endodontics in White River Junction, Vermont, with HSDM faculty member Dr. Rebekah Lucier Pryles. Together, they co-founded Pulp Nonfiction Endodontics, an educational collaborative dedicated to delivering evidence-based education to clinical practitioners.
