Dr. Caroline Busch is an instructor in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and interim predoctoral director of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Harvard School of Dental Medicine (HSDM). She is also a senior attending in oral surgery at University Hospital Düsseldorf (UKD). Her research focuses on dental education, applied artificial intelligence, and radiographic imaging.

Her clinical practice focuses on oral surgery and oral pathology, which she teaches at the predoctoral and graduate levels at UKD and HSDM.

Busch joined the Feres Lab at HSDM as an advanced research trainee through a fellowship awarded by the Osteology Foundation and subsequently served for 12 months as a research associate. She holds a DMD from Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf and is board certified in oral surgery.
