Jill Slye

Jill Slye teaches courses and professional and executive development programs in fundamentals and advanced public speaking, communicating as a woman, effective organizational communication, and professional presenting at Harvard University Extension School. She also teaches at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where she offers MMSc students a yearlong course in leadership communication.

Slye serves as a public speaking consultant for master’s degree students at the Harvard Kennedy School and conducts training at other Harvard schools. She owns a global coaching company serving diverse industries worldwide, offering programs to enhance public speaking and foster effective communication.

With 34 years of experience in leadership, sales, management, and marketing, Slye has a deep understanding of her audience, enabling her to connect with clients and students. In 2020, she received the Petra Shattuck Excellence in Teaching Award and published Reinvesting in Your Rhetoric, a book that serves as an executive summary of her teachings.
