Dr. John Anthony Zdanowicz

Assistant Professor in Oral Health Policy and Epidemiology

Dr. John A. Zdanowicz  earned a BA in chemistry from Salem State College in 1977. After receiving a DMD from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1980, he earned a certificate in general dentistry from the Eastman Dental Center AEGD program in 1982 and a certificate from The Genesee Hospital General Practice Residency Program in 1983, both located in Rochester, New York. In 2013, he obtained a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

From 1983 through 2000, Zdanowicz was director of the Genesee Hospital General Practice Residency Program and then director of the Harvard AEGD program from 2000 to 2004. He served as director of the General Practice Residency Program of the Cambridge Health Alliance from 2004 to 2020.

 Zdanowicz practices general dentistry at the Harvard Dental Center at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine (HSDM).
