Dr. Katherine France
Dr. Katherine France is director of the Advanced Graduate Education Program in Oral Medicine at the Mass General Brigham hospital system and the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. She earned her DMD and Master of Bioethics from the University of Pennsylvania and completed her residency in oral medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
France maintains a broad clinical practice in oral medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Throughout her career, she has practiced in a variety of medical and dental settings and has taught across oral medicine, oral diagnosis, and special care dentistry. She lectures regularly to dental students, residents, and practicing clinicians on oral medicine, ethics and professionalism, and patient management.
Her scholarly work focuses on the impact of advances in medicine on dental practice, with an emphasis on delivering safe patient care and understanding evolving trends in health care.
