Dr. Lisa A Thompson
Assistant Professor of Oral Health Policy and Epidemiology
Dr. Lisa Thompson is an assistant professor at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine in the Department of Oral Health Policy and Epidemiology. She earned her undergraduate degree from Cornell College in Mount Vernon, Iowa, and received her DMD from Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine in 2005. After graduation, she was awarded the Massachusetts Access Program grant and worked as a general dentist at Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA). While at CHA, she completed a fellowship in geriatric dentistry at HSDM.
Fields of Interest
Dr. Thompson has led dental students and residents in oral health school screening programs and mobile dentistry. She has a strong interest in community health programs and outreach for elders.
