Dr. Shaikha K. AlDukhail joined Harvard School of Dental Medicine (HSDM) for her Doctor of Medical Science (DMSc) degree, where she received  training in research design, qualitative and quantitative analyses. She is  involved in designing, training, and implementing a 10-year multimethods quasi-experimental longitudinal study on lifestyle and social determinants of health, targeting over 6,000 first-year college students with the Department of Lifestyle and Health Research Center at Princess Nourah Bint Abdulrahman University (PNU) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

AlDukhail received "The Community Service Postdoctoral Student Award" for her overall achievement in public health and contribution to the field, as well as first place in the 2020 AIDPH Colloquium Student Poster Contest. She is also an inaugural Misk fellow, participating in a program that seeks to transform Saudi Arabia by developing a powerful network of leaders.

Her areas of interest include the role of mass media communication in public health, barriers and enablers to healthy behaviors, vulnerable populations and health disparities, medical education, and preferred learning styles.
