Sondos B. Alghamdi
Dr. Sondos Alghamdi is a lecturer in the Department of Oral Health Policy and Epidemiology at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. She is also a faculty member in the Department of Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry and chair of Academic Quality Development and Accreditation at King Khalid University in Saudi Arabia.
Alghamdi earned a Master of Medical Sciences (MMSc) in dental education and a certificate in dental public health from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. She previously completed certificate training in a craniofacial program at Nova Southeastern University in Florida and earned her dental degree from King Khalid University. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada (FRCDC) in dental public health.
Her work focuses on integrating nutrition education and training into oral health, where she is actively engaged in research and educational projects. A certified peer coach through the Harvard Coaching Program at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, Alghamdi applies coaching skills to improve dental education and training. She is also advancing the use of artificial intelligence in dentistry and education to develop innovative solutions for accreditation.
Her research interests include nutrition, dental education, and artificial intelligence in dentistry and education.
