William Negreiros

Lecturer on Restorative Dentistry and Biomaterials Sciences

Dr. Negreiros earned his dental degree from the University of Campinas in Brazil and holds a master’s degree in dental materials science and a specialty certificate in implant dentistry.

He served as a research associate in implant dentistry at HSDM, during which time he secured a  grant from the International Team for Implantology (ITI) Foundation. He later graduated cum laude from the Advanced Standing program at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.

Negreiros has received several honors, including the Dr. Joseph E. Primack Endowed Prize in Prosthodontics, the International Congress of Oral Implantology Achievement Award, and the Academy of Osseointegration Outstanding Research and Best Clinical Research Presentation awards. He was also inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honor society for academic excellence.

An active member of ITI, Negreiros has authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed articles on implant dentistry and prosthodontics and serves as a reviewer for the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry.

In addition to academic and research activities, he maintains a private practice in Lexington, Massachusetts. His areas of interest include clinical and translational research on digital implant dentistry, guided surgery, and digital implant impressions.
