Administration and finance includes offices supporting: Facilities, Finance, Grants Management, Human Resources, Information Technology and Risk and Compliance.

Facilities

The Office of Facilities oversees campus planning, maintenance, construction, and operations to ensure a safe, functional, and sustainable environment for students, staff, and faculty.

Finance

The Office of Finance manages the institution's financial operations, including budgeting, accounting, financial planning, and ensuring compliance with fiscal policies to support HSDM's goals.

Grants

The Office of Grants Management provides a range of grants-related services to the HSDM community, serving faculty, students, and researchers.

Grants Management supports the HSDM community, including faculty, students, and researchers. We handle all preaward and postaward operations, such as: 

  • Proposal development 
  • Grant transaction
  • Progress reports
  • Award account setup
  • Award management
  • Financial reporting 

We offer training and guidance for those submitting or managing grants. Our goal is to support HSDM’s education, research, and clinical missions by simplifying research administration, allowing our faculty and researchers to focus more on their work. We are dedicated to providing quality service and clear communication for all grant-related needs.

Human Resources

The Office of Human Resources provides comprehensive HR services, including recruitment, benefits administration, and employee relations to support HSDM's staff.

Information Technology

The Office of Information Technology (IT) ensures the availability and security of technological resources, supporting HSDM's IT needs and fostering innovation.
